Gardening is a good way to get your dose of healthy activity: 150 active minutes spread throughout the week will help keep your heart healthy and your muscles strong. Mowing the lawn and racking the leaves are more likely to help keep your heart healthy and digging the weeds and moving objects will help make your muscles stronger. If you have a heart condition avoid intense activities e.g. heavy digging and also moving from floor to standing up too quickly.
